Are you searching for an exciting and engaging activity that both you and your dog can enjoy together? Then look no further!- Hoopers is rapidly growing dog sport that’s taking the UK by storm! Whether you have a young pup bursting with energy, a seasoned canine companion or something in-between, our Canine Hoopers classes offer an enjoyable experience for dogs and their humans. It is similar to agility but low impact as all obstacles are ground level and with no tight turns. It also provides a fantastic foundation for anyone wanting to start agility when their dogs are fully grown and can help existing agility handlers with their distance handling. We will teach you everything you need to know to start navigating basic courses made up of hoops, tunnels, barrels and touch mats. Our beginners course also includes the completion of the Foundation Good Hoopers Award, complete with fancy rosette & certificate! Subsequent awards can be worked towards in later courses. PLEASE NOTE - Although this course is suitable for all ages (from 5 months), abilities and breeds, your dog should have a reasonable enough recall to practice completing short exercises off lead at the same time as other dogs (in their own space). Long lines are not permitted as they can damage the equipment and scare the dogs if they get caught. This course is not suitable for reactive dogs. We are happy to offer one to ones as an alternative, please get in touch if you are unsure if your dog is suitable.
