Dump the Jump! Jumping Prevention course

Service Description

When our dogs are little puppies it might seem cute when they jump up for attention, but it becomes much less endearing when they’re fully grown and leaping at your face. Not only can their nails scratch or damaged clothes and property, they can also be a bit dangerous, accidentally knocking children or adults over in their excitement. Small and medium dogs are just as guilty when they become tiny trip hazards or embarrass you when they get their muddy paws all over someone’s clothing. Fortunately help is at hand. With this 2 part crash course, we aim to set you and your dog up for success to finally DUMP the JUMP! We will work on different impulse control exercises positively teaching your dog that there are better choices than jumping up. We will work on the following behaviors: Preventing the Jump Teaching alternative behaviours Providing positive rewards-based consequences Giving you the tools and knowledge to DUMP the JUMP behaviour permanently!
