Service Description

Agility- New to Distance Run by renowned Distance agility handler and instructor Hayley Laches This workshop is aimed at handlers who are looking to start their journey into distance handling for agility. This workshop is specifically aimed at handlers and dogs who have not done any distance handling previously. It is perfect for unsticking velcro dogs and for creating a confident dog who is happy to leave their owner. This workshop will be suitable for you if: you are looking to unstick your velcro dog you want a bit more independence from your dog you cannot keep up with your dog around a course you are no longer able to run with your dog you want to distance handle young dogs starting out on their agility adventure Workshop length is 2hrs, cost is £50 per place. Limited spaces available. There is very little sitting around waiting your turn, please expect to work for the majority of the workshop, obviously giving your dog breaks between exercises and toilet breaks as necessary. Due to the nature of training that will take place during this workshop, please do not feed your dog prior to attending, or only a very small portion! Please bring plenty of non-crumbly treats with you that your dog will consider high value. There may be homemade treats available for purchase on the day. If your dog works for toys then please bring toys as well as food! Ideally, bring multiple toys of equal value, however multiple toys of differing values will be ok as well. Payment required to book your space. If you are unable to attend no refunds are available, however you may sell your place to someone of equivalent level for that session.
